HOW WE WORK

Stiernberg Consulting's role can be one of active project manager, team leader, facilitator, analyst, researcher, or confidential background advisor.

We prepare a detailed contract after discussing client needs in depth. Fees are arranged on either a project or retainer basis. Projects last up to six months with tightly defined deliverables. Retainer relationships are six months or longer and allow for additional flexibility in the scope of work.

Rather than "run the meter" like a taxicab, we determine fees and estimate expenses in advance. We apply an hourly or daily rate to the project and work closely in the definition phase to coordinate all budget and administrative details. We are careful to define mutual responsibilities expectations in advance.

OUR UNIQUE APPROACH

Our unique approach contains five phases that are conducted in each project:

1. Discovery -- gather information
2. Analysis -- interpret and organize relevant information
3. Reporting -- provide strategic and tactical recommendations
4. Facilitation -- guide the implementation process
5. Continuity -- periodic feedback and coaching

• Description of work to be performed -- scope, specific duties, and deliverables.
• Schedule -- list of key milestones during project period.
• Business Relationship -- statement that we are independent consultants and not employees or agents of the client company.
• Non-Disclosure Agreement -- assures confidentiality as needed.
• Fee and Payment Schedule -- full details including consulting fees and expenses
